Bilingual french education
Our bilingual education program immerses children in an environment that mirrors a bilingual family with both languages spoken throughout the day. It is not just about language acquisition, but it enhances cognitive development and fosters open-mindedness.
Indeed, learning two languages improves attention control, problem-solving, and multitasking when the children grow up.
In addition, bilingualism promotes mutual respect, adaptability to new environments, and it helps with a better communication enhancing empathy and flexibility.
EYFS & Montessori blended methods
Our in-house teaching method harmoniously merges EYFS and Montessori approaches, fostering independence, creativity, and a genuine love for learning in each child.
Our primary educational approach involves tailoring activities to align with the unique interests and needs of each child. We work diligently towards their “Next Step” based on our stimulating in-house curriculum, which merges structured developmental guidelines with a child-centred approach. We believe in in-the-moment activities that stimulate our children’s curiosity and imagination. Drawing inspiration from the Montessori pedagogy, we emphasise independence, hands-on learning, and self-paced exploration. This allows our children to develop their potential at their own pace, promoting a love of learning and a sense of accomplishment.

- Active: be able to recognise and fulfil their physical potential and gain the skills needed to develop their independence.
- Respectful: be polite remembering the magical words, be confident to express themselves in a range of ways knowing their voice will be heard and having an awareness of the different cultures and traditions.
- Adaptable: become well rounded individuals, able to adjust to different social situations and resolve conflict.
- Compassionate: feel rooted and appreciated as individuals and show empathy towards other.
Readiness for school programme
At Raphael Nursery, we believe that every child has the potential to shine. Our nurturing environment and engaging curriculum help children develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in school and beyond.
We have implemented a school readiness program developed by an experienced teacher that focuses on phonic initiation, maths, writing and social skills. We deliver it in both English and French, outside the phonic that are solely in English to avoid any confusion.
Our caring nursery boosts our children’s confidence and sets the seeds for them to succeed when they move on to school.
